Former governor of Delta state and Delta South All Progressives Congress (APC), senatorial candidate in the 2019 general elections, Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, has expressed shock over the news of the passing of Adolor Okotie-Eboh, a chieftain of the APC who died earlier today at the age of 64.
Okotie-Eboh, erstwhile chairman of Delta APC, who led the now defunct Delta ACN into the merger that birthed the All Progressives Congress was an American trained pilot turned politician and son of Nigeria’s first republic finance minister, Festus Okotie-Eboh.
Uduaghan in a statement signed by Monoyo Edon, Media Assistant to former governor Emmanuel Eweta Udaughan, made avialable to HardReporters, said, “Chief Adolor’s death is depressing to the Itsekiri nation, the All Progressives Congress and Delta State due to his gigantic contributions to the political narrative of not just Delta State but also Nigeria in general.
“I pray that God would strengthen and console his family in this difficult time. We miss you Omimi Ejor. May his beloved soul rest in absolute peace.”
