Barely 48 hours to the conduct of the Delta state local government election billed for January, 6, 2018, Isoko North chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Emmanuel Egbabor, Thursday ended his ward to ward campaign rallies with a charge on the people to give all their votes to all the PDP candidates during the Saturday’s election.
The campaign train of Mr. Egbabor which had in attendance the former Delta Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), Ovuozourie Macaulay, James Manager, Senator representing Delta South senatorial district in the National Assembly, Tim Owhefere, Delta state house of Assembly majority leader and member representing Isoko North, AjiriOghene Ogeh, Commissioner for Housing, Mike Ogwah, Board member Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba, as well as Godwin Ogorugba, Isoko North PDP chairman and other leaders and party faithful witnessed a mammoth crowd.
The campaign train which after visiting Owhelogbo-Otobio-Otor owhe- Emevor-Iyede 1 and Iyede 2, Oyede-Okpe Isoko-Ofagbe-Ellu/Aradhe/Ovrode-Ozoro 1,2,3 (Ala Sq) saw party leaders canvassing votes for the party come Saturday’s election.
Speaking at the grand finale of his campaign, the Isoko North PDP chairmanship candidate, Emmanuel Egbabor, promised to surpass his achievements in his first tenure and called on the people ignore the antics of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), and vote the PDP for more better dividends of democracy.
While thanking all the party leaders for their unflinching supports, Egbagor noted that “Isoko North is a full blooded PDP local government. We have nothing to do with APC with all their failed promises. I encourage you all to give your support to the PDP where your futures are guaranteed. We have done it before, during our first tenure we carried out free eye treatment and distributions of glasses, security wise we did it, Isoko North local government was one of the most peaceful in Delta state.
