A randy traditional ruler of a community known as Irri in Isoko South local government area of Delta State , Mr. Michael Oviese, is said to have joined his ancestors in an unfortunate circumstances according to locals. HardReporters reliably gathered that the known randy and adamant regent who specialises in socialising and flaunting business women with big ass had gone to a goat pepper soup joint in Asidi street, opposite St Michaels College, Oleh, with one of his big ass woman simply identified as “OKEZI” where he was shot by unidentified gunmen.
According to residents around the scene of the incident, the regent who came to the joint around 9:30pm in a casual dress in company of his big ass girlfriend “OKEZI” had barely eaten his plate of goat pepper soup when the armed men suddenly appeared from nowhere and demanded for the key of his Camry car.
“Immediately the gunmen came, they met him and demanded for his car key and his girlfriend, OKEZI asked him to throw the key to them and shortly after that he was shot at a close range directly at his abdomen and the hoodlums escaped. The sound from the gun attracted residents to the scene where it was discovered that the victim happens to be the regent of Irri kingdom and he was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.” a resident told our correspondent.
Speaking to HardReporters, a palace chief from the kingdom who pleaded for anonymity broke the news of the demise of the traditional ruler Thursday morning to our correspondent, lamenting the way and manner the young regent lost his life adding that if he had not gone to the joint he wouldn’t had died unceremoniously.
“He is a very adamant young man who does not listen to words of wisdom. I can authoritatively confirm to you that our traditional ruler who was shot few weeks ago is dead, he died last week Wednesday following injuries sustained from the gun shots. He died at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital ( UBTH ) where he had been receiving treatment. But for the now his death has not been formally made know to the general public for traditional reasons and according to the customs of the kingdom.
“As I talk to you now, only members of his immediate family and palace chiefs are aware of the unfortunate and preventable death. How could a traditional ruler at that hour go to a goat pepper soup joint and now he’s no more because of a plate of a goat pepper soup. In fact when the news of his death filtered into town, everybody was shocked and amazed. The entire kingdom is currently in a state of mourning. After three months that is when the news will be formally and traditionally broken according to the customs of the land.” the chief said.
