James Manager, is a fourth term senator representing Delta south senatorial district in the National Assembly. He ran under the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), platform.
Mr. Manager, who is said to have penchant for sleeping in public functions especially in the floor of the red chamber during plenary was this time around caught sleeping during the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), national convention held in Eagle square, Abuja.
Political commentators are of the views that the senator who has failed his people should not be given the chance to return to the red chamber come 2019.
“Why I still insists that Delta South Senatorial District should be given to another person who is capable of representing us, not a dormant and weakling person like Manager.
“Just imagine how Senator James Manager was sleeping publicly in a very noisy place, this is how he sleeps in the Senate floor while others like are busy debating and attracting projects to their constituencies.” a constituent said.
According to another constituent, “James Manager is a total failure who does not have the interest of his people at heart. All he does is to amass wealth at the expense of his constituents. He is good at grabbing NDDC contracts using cronies to execute and others abandoned after collecting mobilization. Manager is a failure.”
