As Political Analyst Call On INEC To Declare Election Inconclusive

Reports reaching our news desk revealed that chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in Isoko have allegedly raised huge sums of money running into several millions of naira to compromise officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), to declare the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), and the incumbent minority leader of the house of representatives, Leo Ogor, winner of the Saturday’s national Assembly election.

Results so far released shows that Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, All Progressives Congress, (APC), House of Representatives candidate for the Isoko Federal constituency is leading his PDP opponent, Leo Ogor with 250 votes in Isoko South while Ogor is leading with 3,000 votes in Isoko North council area.

Our political editor reports that 17, 000 votes from two wards have so far been cancelled.

Meanwhile, some political analyst who spoke with our correspondent noted that in a situation such as the one in Isoko federal constituency, the best option is to declare the election inconclusive and fix another date for a re-run.
