As the 2027 general elections gather momentum, the people of Isoko South and Isoko North Federal Constituency have continued to clamour for a better and more impactful individual who has the interest of the people at heart.

Against this backdrop, the people have made up their minds to vote out the incumbent member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko.

According to the people of Isoko Federal Constituency, they have made their choice in the person of Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo, whom they describe as the saviour and messiah that can take Isoko to the promised land. For Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo, politics should not be about titles or positions but about service, responsibility, and the opportunity to transform lives. For him, politics is not a career choice, neither is it a platform for personal ambition.

It is a solemn responsibility, a call to serve, and a vehicle through which meaningful change can be achieved for the good of his people. His upbringing in Isoko land actually exposed him to the challenges of underdevelopment, poor infrastructure, and limited opportunities, which has inspired his passion for solutions-driven leadership. Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo has made modest contributions toward youth empowerment, education, women’s development, and support for vulnerable groups, and he believes that philanthropy alone cannot address the long suffering and marginalisation of Isoko nation.

As you are aware, the problems of Isoko require political will, policy intervention, and leadership that prioritises the people above self. That is why Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo is in politics.

The Obomovo I know will continue championing fairness, accountability, and grassroots development if entrusted with leadership responsibilities, and his aspiration is simple: to see a constituency where every Isoko individual has the opportunity to thrive. This is why he is in politics not for self, but for service; not for today alone, but for generations to come.

For the benefit of those who may not have known Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo KSC, MSc, FNIOB, he is a distinguished entrepreneur, visionary housing expert, and compassionate community developer and philanthropist whose life journey reflects the spirit of hard work, excellence, and devotion to service. Please permit me to briefly make a rundown of the biography of the man, “Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo”, the man who fits the cap to represent the good people of Isoko Federal Constituency come 2027.

With all this intimidating profile, both in academics and human qualities embedded in this man of honour, now tell me who is out there that is not afraid of him joining the race of the House of Representatives in Isoko?. Sir (Bldr.) Blessing Oghale Obomovo is an illustrious son of Isoko land who hails from Otor-Owhe and Ozoro with deep roots in Aradhe and Ofagbe in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, two proud communities that have shaped his values of integrity, discipline, and faith.

Born into the noble lineage of Late Pa Benjamin Obomovo Ogwara of Ekidhebi Quarters, Otor-Owhe, and Mrs. Elizabeth Obomovo Ogwara of Ofah Street, Erovie Quarters; a Prince from the Eluega ruling house, Ozoro. Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo began his academic journey at Azagba Primary School, Otor-Owhe, and later attended Owhe Grammar School before completing his secondary education at the prestigious James Welch Grammar School, Emevor. His pursuit of technical excellence led him to the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, where he obtained both his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Building Technology. Even as a student, Sir Obomovo’s leadership instincts shone brightly.

He served as President of the Otor-Owhe Students’ Association, President of the National Union of Isoko Students (NUIS, IMT Chapter), and Secretary of the National Association of Delta Students (NADESSTU, IMT Chapter), demonstrating early the traits of a man destined to lead and to serve. Upon graduation, he refused to wait for opportunities. Rather, he created them. He moved to Lagos to begin a career that would define his legacy.

He started with Eleganza Building and Construction Company and later joined Stabilini Visinoni Limited, a leading name in Nigeria’s Civil Engineering and Construction sector.

At Stabilini, his unmatched work ethic, brilliance, and professional mastery quickly distinguished him. Rising through the ranks to the position of Site Manager, Sir Blessing Obomovo became a symbol of diligence and excellence, earning him the admiration of colleagues and superiors alike. Guided by vision and courage, he went on to establish Standout Properties Ltd (SPL), a contracting, real estate management, and property development firm with headquarters in Lagos.

Under his leadership, SPL has grown into one of the most dynamic indigenous firms in the Nigerian construction landscape.

In his quest for continuous learning, he obtained a Master’s degree in Housing Development and Management from the University of Ibadan, reinforcing his commitment to global best practices in building and urban development. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the prestigious Rome Business School, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Building (FNIOB) and a Registered Builder with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), alongside memberships in other professional associations.

For over a decade, Standout Properties Ltd has delivered landmark projects across Nigeria, combining innovation, integrity, and craftsmanship. Beyond structures, Sir Blessing Obomovo has built people by intentionally employing and empowering over 60% of Isoko indigenes in his company as part of his enduring philosophy of human capital development and homegrown excellence, and he is married with children who mirror his humility and purpose-driven life. Precisely March 28, 2026, Sir (Builder) Blessing Oghale Obomovo bowed to the clarion calls of the youths, men, and women of Isoko Federal Constituency to throw his hat into the ring.

Yielding to the calls, he declared his intention to vie for the House of Representatives to represent the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency. The CEO of Standout Properties Limited made the declaration to run under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Blessing Oghale Obomovo hinged his aspiration on a clear and practical vision captured in the “OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda,” with a people-driven framework built on accessible representation, strategic legislative engagement, infrastructure development, quality healthcare, economic empowerment, and above all unity.

The renowned philanthropist is recognised for his work in the building industry, grassroots politics, sports sponsorship, and humanitarian services. In his declaration speech titled “My Dear People of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency!”, he stated that his representation would transcend being present in Abuja, but must be visible at home, and his impact would be felt by constituents with tangible progress. He added: “There comes a time in the life of a people when silence is no longer an option, and service becomes a responsibility that must be embraced with courage and clarity. That time is now.”

“After a deep reflection, wide consultations, and a firm conviction rooted in my lifelong commitment to our people, I, Sir (Bldr.) Blessing Oghale Obomovo, hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the office of Member, House of Representatives, to represent the good people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections. This decision is not driven by ambition for office, but by a burden for service.

“I come into this race as a son of the soil, one who understands the realities of our people and who has walked the same paths, shared in the same struggles, and witnessed firsthand the paradox of a land richly blessed yet insufficiently developed, a people full of potential yet unharnessed. But I believe that story can change, and that time is now. My aspiration is anchored on a clear and practical vision, captured in the OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda. A people-driven framework built on accessible representation, strategic legislative engagement, infrastructure development, quality healthcare, economic empowerment, and above all unity.

“I believe representation must be more than presence in Abuja. It must be visible at home. It must be felt in the lives of the people. It must translate into measurable progress. I offer myself not just as a candidate, but as a servant representative prepared to provide practical and accessible representation that keeps the people at the centre. I will leverage legislative influence through strategic lobbying and oversight to attract federal opportunities to Isoko. I will champion power infrastructure and industrial growth as the foundation for development. I will expand access to quality healthcare and education. I will drive youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills development.

“I will promote a united Isoko, where our collective strength becomes our greatest advantage. I do not claim to have all the answers, but I bring experience and capacity. I bring a proven track record of building not just structures, but people. Most importantly, I bring a heart committed to service. To the youths, I see your energy and your aspirations. To the women, I recognise your strength and your role as pillars of our communities. To our elders and leaders, I honour your wisdom and guidance. I do not seek this office to lord over anyone, but to serve as a representative of the Isoko people. This is not just my declaration. It is a call to collective action.

“Together, we can rewrite the story of Isoko. Together, we can build a future that reflects the true potential of our people. The blessing of Isoko is not a distant hope. It is a responsibility we must now claim. May God guide us all,” the aspirant stated.

For the unshaken love and unflinching supports they have for this illustrious son of Isoko nation, Otor-Owhe and Ozoro kingdoms of Isoko North council area massively endorsed Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo as the sole candidate for the Isoko federal constituency race, describing him as a worthy son that has come to liberate and ameliorate the long suffering of the people. At Otor-Owhe Kingdom, his paternal home, the community gave Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo a rousing endorsement, describing his ambition as timely and aligned with the aspirations of the people.

The kingdom, under the leadership of Wilfred Atunu and revered elders, offered blessings and prayers for his victory at the polls.

At Ozoro Kingdom, a motion for the endorsement was moved by Friday Arah and seconded by Sir (Chief) Raphael Oro Afemari (JP). The representative of the Ovie of Ozoro, Chief Solomon Akeni, put the question to the people, who responded with a resounding “YES!”.

According to the President-General of the Ozoro Progressive Union, Chief Berkley Asiafa, who spoke on behalf of Ozoro Kingdom during the endorsement held last Tuesday at Opute Hall, Ozoro, the people have spoken with one voice and will mobilise fully to ensure Obomovo’s victory. The community described the endorsement as a welcome and laudable development that will further strengthen democratic participation and promote credible and quality representation. They called on all Isoko sons and daughters, irrespective of political parties, to give Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo massive support.

The endorsement also drew support from community leaders and institutions, including representatives of the palace, the Ozoro Progressive Union, and various women and youth groups, who indicated readiness to mobilise grassroots backing. In his remarks, Obomovo expressed appreciation for the show of support from both his maternal and paternal communities, describing it as a call to service. He assured stakeholders of his commitment to inclusive representation and pledged to work closely with leaders and constituents if given the opportunity, while urging continued unity and cooperation as the political process unfolds.

Who are you to challenge what God Almighty has decreed?. Though the 2027 general elections are still months away, the overwhelming support being enjoyed by Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo shows that the people are tired of window dressing and deceptive representation at the House of Representatives, Abuja.

Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo maintains a friendly disposition with everyone the rich and the poor, the strong and the weak.

He is indeed a man of the people who has a direct link with the masses, and suffice it to say that charity flows in his veins.

Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo understands the terrain of Isoko politics like the back of his hand and is conversant with the social and cultural dynamics of Isoko land. The zeal and commitment Sir Blessing Obomovo has for Isoko Federal Constituency are borne out of his desire to create a new Isoko where both the weak and the strong, indigenes and non-indigenes, are treated equally.

A place where you can turn your tap with confidence and water will flow, where you switch on your light and it shines, and where your children receive quality education and secure meaningful employment after school. Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo’s vision is to transform Isoko into an economically prosperous, socially stable, and politically peaceful society.

Following his antecedents, Isoko youths and several political groups have massively thrown their weight behind him.

According to the Isoko youths, Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo has done more than enough as a private businessman, and if given the opportunity to serve, he will undoubtedly deliver. They believe he will create opportunities, bridge developmental gaps, and place Isoko on the map by leveraging local resources, tapping into talent, and fostering partnerships that drive growth.

This includes student empowerment grants, skills development programmes, agricultural innovation, improved healthcare, support for local producers, and infrastructure upgrades. The people of Isoko firmly believe that his representation will reverse years of suffering, marginalisation, and neglect. For this reason, the masses are clamouring for a God-chosen leader in the person of Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo, a man widely regarded as God-fearing. As his consultations with APC leaders, elders, members, traditional rulers, and the people of Isoko Federal Constituency gather momentum, one thing remains clear.

The chosen one is not the man who relies on violence, intimidation, or manipulation. The chosen one is the man who goes into an electoral contest with confidence in his popularity and faith in God. He is a man of honour, dignity, and integrity—loved by the people and noble in all ramifications. The chosen one is chosen by both God and the people, and he knows it.

In all, Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo is, without doubt, the chosen one of the people of Isoko nation. Fellow citizens of Isoko, do not sell your votes for peanuts.

Let us all join hands and give our votes to the chosen one, Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo, come 2027, for better and effective representation in the House of Representatives.
