For not buying into his proposal during his reign as governor of Delta state, a popular Nollywood producer, Zeb Ejiro, an indigene of Ozoro, Isoko North local government area of the state, is said to have employed means of blackmailing former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, who is gunning for the Delta South senatorial seat in the 2019 forthcoming general elections.
HardReporters, reliably gathered that Mr. Ejiro had during the reigns of Uduaghan as governor in Delta state, approached him with a proposal which did not see the light of the day when it was discovered it was met to defraud the state.
According to an impeccable source who seems to be familiar with the dealings then, former governor Uduaghan had almost approved the proposal when his attention was drawn to an investigation carried out which revealed that the deal was fraudulent.
Our source who declined to give more details on the alleged proposal said, “I will not let everything out of the basket for the now, let Zeb Ejiro continue his shameful dance but I assure you that at the appropriate time we shall make available the full copy of the proposal for the World to see how selfish and fraudulent is Zeb.”
It was gathered that since that incidence, the movie producer had vowed to fight against the interest of the former governor especially politically.
It was learnt that it was against that backdrop, that the movie producer, Zeb Ejiro, took to his verified fcaebook account Tuesday morning to express his anger against the senatorial ambition of the immediate past governor.
Mr. Ejiro wrote on his facebook page thus:
“I don’t want to believe this is true. Uduaghan cannot be allowed to contest this constituency. He left huge debt behind and did nothing in Delta state. Is this who we are now.?” He vowed.
Zeb Ejiro, had in late 2017 announced that he would declare his 2019 political ambition on the 2nd of February, 2018, and it would happen at his home town, Ozoro, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, but till date no one has heard anything about that.
As at press time, calls to Mr. Zeb Ejiro were not answered as his mobile line rang repeatedly.
Meanwhile, several personalities in the entertainment industry, had described former governor Uduaghan as a governor that will forever be remembered in so many ways too numerous to mention, especially in the industry till date.
It would be recalled that few months ago, comedians, led by Francis Agoda, popularly known as “I Go Die” endorsed former governor Uduaghan for Delta South senatorial seat and pledged their supports for the immediate past governor.
