“I also appreciate all our political and religious leaders, traditional rulers, party faithful, the leader and members of the Isoko North Legislative Arm, members of the Isoko North Executive Council, Management and staff for their support over the years even as we still appeal for more support.
“As 2020 beckons, by God’s grace we will be better off than last year, even as we will not relent on our promises to deliver quality services to the good people of Isoko North. It is our dream to see a more united and peaceful Isoko North, irrespective of party, religion or other considerations.
“As a government, we are determined to implement programmes and policies that will continue to touch the lives of the people and part of the strategy is to complete all projects that we have started as we enter the last lap of our current and final term in office.
“It is our determination to leave Isoko North as the most peaceful Local Government in the state and as such we will continue to sue for peace, cooperation and harmony among the people and communities of Isoko North for without peace and security there can’t be any meaningful development.
“I urge the good people of Isoko North to work together to achieve peace and security in our local government as the security agencies alone cannot do it. I urge our people to report all suspicious criminal activities to security agencies in a bid to rid the local government off criminals.
“While I will agree that we had a good year in 2019, It is our hope that we shall have a better year 2020 filled with opportunities for the good of our people. We will continue to partner with the security agencies to sustain peace and security that we have enjoyed in the year 2019.
“As part of our sustainable development strategy, we would ensure that our environment is kept clean by taking seriously the issues of environmental sanitation, health and well-being of the people thereby creating a conducive and enabling environment for private investors to operate.
