Armed Forces Day:  Sacrifices Of Our Fallen Heroes Will Not Go Unrewarded, Ogorugba Assured

The sacrifices of Nigerian fallen heroes shall not go unrewarded according to the chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba.

The council chairman who gave the assurance Wednesday during the Armed Forces Remembrance day in Ozoro, commended the patriotism and sacrifices of the Nigerian armed forces, stating that their efforts will not go unrewarded.

Ogorugba while emphasizing his ongoing support for the Nigeria’s ex-service members and their families, he noted that “We are committed to ensuring that our veterans receive the care and support they deserve, including access to quality healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. Memories of our fallen heroes will be honoured, and I want to reiterate that their families will receive every support within our reach.”

The council boss called for greater commitment to promoting peace, stability, and security in Isoko North, Delta State, and Nigeria at large, emphasizing that development can only be sustained where there is peace, security, and stability.

The event was attended by serving security agents, traditional rulers, religious leaders, political leaders and among others.

The high point of the event was the laying of wreaths by the council chairman, Godwin Ogorugba, his vice, leader of the council legislative arms and among others.
