Constituents Pass No Confidence Vote On Delta Lawmaker, Esievo, Over Non Performance

The people of Irri ward 10, Isoko South constituency 1, Delta state have passed a vote of no confidence on their representative in the state house of Assembly, Mrs. Orezi Esievo, popularly called “Mama Over Flow”, over what they described as non performance.

Rising from an enlarge meeting of stakeholders in Irri ward 10 over the weekend, at Irri town, Isoko South local government area of the state, the people unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on their representative, Mr. Orezi Esievo representing Isoko South constituency 1 in the Delta State house of Assembly.

The stakeholders observed with dismay over her poor representation of the people of Irri town that made up of the five wards of the constituency 1 which she represents.

According to the stakeholders, “Since she assumed office as a member representing us, there is no single project in Irri town rather she brought disunity among us by fighting our son that was in the seat. It is a big shame that while other wards are complaining of inadequate funds to their projects, IRRI is nil.” adding that they will reinforce and mobilise all and sundry from the area to vote for credible candidates and not party that cannot attract developmental projects and appointments to Irri town.

The meeting however used the medium to review the Delta state 2018 budget already signed into law by governor Ifeanyi Okowa, lamenting that no project was allocated to the area in spite of their contributions during elections.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed report has it that women of Emede kingdom, home town of Mrs. Esievo, pelted her with stones fee weeks ago over her lackadaisical attitude and performance.
