* Romances With Nwaoboshi As Nwoko Campaign Organization Raises Bias Alarm
Alleged plans by the Delta North Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Chairman, Moses Iduh to oust Ned Nwoko from the 2019 Delta North senatorial race is said to have been uncovered.
Mr. Iduh, it was gathered following his romance with the incumbent senator representing the district in the red chamber, Peter Nwaoboshi, plans have been mapped out to frustrate Mr. Nwoko from the race through denial of the party ticket to enable Mr. Nwaoboshi grab his return ticket to the red chamber.
Against this backdrop, the Ned Nwoko Campaign Organization has raised the alarm, accusing the Delta North PDP Chairman, Moses Iduh of bias and meddlesomeness in issues that contradict the roles he should be playing as an umpire in the party which was described as a thing of big concern.
Addressing Journalists Friday in Asaba, Chairman of the Campaign Organization and former Oshimili North Council Chairman, Emeka Nmadu, gave reasons for the press briefing among which was to draw the attention of party faithful and stakeholders to the sinister roles Mr. Iduh was playing as PDP Chairman, Delta North, when he was supposed to be seen to be above board as an umpire.
“We as bonafide members of the PDP have questioned the roles played by the Chairman of Delta North PDP, Hon. Moses Iduh, who appears to be overtly biased in the discharge of his duty. Accepted laws of propriety, decency and equity demand that an umpire must be guided by neutrality and dispassionate objectivity in the performance of assigned roles”.
While asserting that though as claimed, the meeting as summoned in Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s house was to be at the instance of Izu Anioma to rally support for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s second term in office; Mr. Nmadu, however, opined that Ned Nwoko is totally in support of the Anioma leadership and progressive agenda given his long standing passion in safeguarding the dignity and destiny of Anioma land.
Our correspondent reports that the Prince Ned Nwoko Campaign Organization made it clear that its principal has been in the crusade supporting the re-election bid of governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019, and would continue to inspire and mobilize his constituents, supporters and followers across the state for this agenda.
“Ned Nwoko has been in the forefront of a Delta State Governor of an Anioma extraction, he will remain in PDP as a founding member to energize the consolidation of the prosperity vision of Senator Okowa in second term and will not do anything to undermine that collective agenda.” Mr. Nmadu said.
