Barely two weeks to the conduct of the presidential and national Assembly elections, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), candidate for the Isoko federal constituency, Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, popularly known as (JOT), has described his house of representatives ambition as a divine project can not be abandoned by God even as he said that God will surely finish what he started.

APC house of representatives candidate in a post Friday on his verified facebook account tasked his supporters and electorates, to have confidence and trust in the Lord for victory come February, 16, 2019.

In a message titled “LEAVE THE WHEELS IN GOD’S HANDS”, Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, stated that “I have no doubt in my mind that God will finish what He started. He doesn’t abandon His projects. I am God’s project. An instrument He will use to better the lot of the Isoko people.

“My dear supporters/electorates, it has become expedient for me to write this, as the day of the election is fast approaching. I have taken stock of all the activities and intrigues from when I left my old party, PDP to this my wonderful party, APC, which gave me the opportunity to contest for the House of Representatives, to represent the Isoko Federal Constituency.

“My heart is filled with so much gratitude for what our Lord, Jesus Christ has been doing, how HE has been and is still favouring me in all dimensions, in every step I have taken. I am not oblivious of the fact that I have fans who are so desirous and have become fanatical to the point of doing ANYTHING, I mean ANYTHING to enable me win this election.

“I want to sincerely appreciate your love and also to appeal to you that we do not need to dine with the devil, because the battle ahead is the Lord’s. Yes, it is the Lord’s battle. It was Him, who made a way for me to be accepted by the APC and He has been making ways. I have no doubt in my mind that God will finish what He started. He doesn’t abandon His projects. I am God’s project. An instrument He will use to better the lot of the Isoko people.

“It is my desire that the will of God should be done for the Isoko people at the end of the election. It is not by my power that I must serve, it will be solely by His grace. So, whatever the outcome, come the 16th of February, 2019, I will accept His will and I will still be grateful to God for giving me this opportunity to seek this elective position, which has given me a better understanding of the plight of my people and has given me the opportunity to know and work with so many wonderful people.

“Each one of you has been very wonderful in various ways. No matter what, by His grace there will still be Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and there are very many other ways in which God can still use me to serve His people.

“In view of this, I therefore encourage everyone who believes in my vision; to effectively serve the Isoko people, to leave everything in God’s hands. While we are going about the necessary campaign activities, I wish to instead, request everyone who desires my victory to go to their various churches within the remaining days and sow a seed of faith. An offering which will bring about the expected victory at the polls and the individual blessings attached. Know that God is in control, let’s leave everything in His hands.” Joel-Onowakpo Thomas said.
