As the 2019 general elections gather momentum, the Joel-Onowakpo Thomas Campaign Organization on Saturday at the Oleh Civic Centre, headquarters of Isoko South local government area of Delta state, dedicated the House of Representative ambition of her principal, Mr. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, to God for victory at the poll and peaceful elections.
Mr. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, former chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, (DBIR), and current Coordinator of Federal Inland Revenue Service, (FIRS), for Edo, Delta and Rivers states, is vying for the House of Representative position for the Isoko Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
The financial expert, is to displace the current occupier of the position, Mr. Leo Okuweh Ogor, who is battling with a partial stroke.
Wife of the incumbent federal lawmaker, Mrs. Peace Ogor, had raised the alarm few months ago expressing her displeasure over “unnecessary pressure by selfish politicians” on her husband, who has been battling stroke for some time now, to join the 2019 contest.
