Delta CP Orders Herdsmen To Vacate Isoko Community

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim has given a marching ordered to Fulani herdsmen to immediately vacate Aradhe community farms, Isoko North local government area following the herdsmen incessant attacks on the community farmlands that has led to destruction of crops in their farms.

The Delta CP gave this order during an enlarged meeting between Mukhar Usman, SA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on non-indigenes who represented the State Governor, Isoko North local government chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Egbabor, some selected leaders from Aradhe community and Fulani herdsmen.

The CP was angry when the herdsmen confirmed to have collected N250,000 from the community people over killing of a cow and had promised to relocate from Aradhe farmlands once the money was given to him. But after collecting the money since last year which was contributed by the entire community to avoid clash, the herdsmen refused to keep to their promise of relocating out of Aradhe.

Commending the CP for the meeting, the council boss, Emmanuel Egbabor expressed satisfaction for the peaceful conduct of the people of Aradhe community over the matter and the prompt attention and professional manner the police handled the matter.

The President General of the Aradhe community, Mr. Felix Omakobia commended the State Police commissioner over the way and manner the issue was handled.
