Isoko North Council Chairman Promises Partnership With Amju Unique Microfinance Bank

The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba, has  announced a partnership with Amju Unique Microfinance Bank Ltd..

Ogorugba who made this remark during the official commissioning of the Emevor branch of the bank on Wednesdayin expressed his commitment to collaborating with the bank in the areas of women’s and youth empowerment for the people of Isoko North and urged all sons and daughters of Isoko nation, both home and abroad, to support their local microfinance bank. 

He emphasized that the Isoko nation is a viable region for business growth and industrialization and encouraged individuals to consider establishing their businesses in their home area.

Ogorugba commended Dr. Jonathan Ososoakpor, the MD/CEO of Amju Unique Microfinance Bank Ltd., for his innovative approach in bringing the bank to the Emevor community and for making significant investments in Isoko land. “This shows that you are committed to the growth and development of Isoko land,” he added.

Additionally, the council chairman who informed the Emevor community that engineers are already on-site for the rehabilitation of the Isi-Emevor Health Center, thanked governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the construction of Emevor-Orogun Road, phases 1 and 2, which aligns with his “MORE Agenda” initiative for the people of Isoko.

The MD/CEO of Amju Unique Microfinance Bank Ltd., Jonathan Ososoakpor expressed his gratitude to the council chairman for the partnership and assured him of effective and efficient service delivery to customers.

Meanwhile in another development, Isoko North council chairman, Godwin Ogorugba,  has promised to partner with Isoko North All Stars Football Club in order to identify and train talented  Isoko North young footballers.

The council  boss made this known Tuesday when he received on courtesy/congratulatory visit of member’s of Isoko North All Star Football Club  at his office, Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local government area.

Ogorugba, how we noted that  “Most of our talented young  football players in Isoko North, most especially those in the rural communities needs just little connections and encouragement from you people, as a local government, we are ready to support our own to attain global heights in football career, but they need your professional advice and connections.

“With the right guidance, resources and opportunities these young footballers can reach their full potentials in the football world. The local government government is committed to backing our own talents and this partnership is a very significant step in that direction in order to consolidate the MORE AGENDA of his Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, governor of Delta State in  Sports and youths empowerment.” Ogorugba said.

The Chairman appreciated the members of Isoko North All Star football club for their congratulatory visit and support for his administration.

Samson Ajighevi  (aka Santus), Chairman Board of Trustees, Speaking onbehalf of Isoko North All Star Football Club, said their visit to congratulate the chairman for his electioneering victory and swearing in as executive chairman Isoko-North Council, adding that they are proud of the chairman achievements for the  just past five months in office.

He assured the chairman of their unwavering loyalty and support for his administration especially in areas of sports activities in the local government.
