Wife of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Veronica Ogorugba has called on the women of Isoko North to sustain their collective supports for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
The Isoko North first lady who made the call Tuesday, during the end-of-year Christmas celebration organised for widows in Isoko North thanked and commended them for their prayers and supports.

The Isoko North first lady described the festive season as a time to show love and compassion, adding that the festive period is a time to show love to one another. My husband and I decided to reach out to you and celebrate with you. Our Governor promised us Ukodo, and today it is spreading round. If you go to Warri, Uvwie, and Ughelli, you will see how he has transformed those areas with massive infrastructure,” she added.

Deaconess Ogorugba also praised her husband, the chairman of Isoko North, Godwin Ogorugba, for his achievements at the council level, saying “If you were in this council secretariat last year, you will agree with me that the entire place has changed. This is the Ukodo they are sharing not just money, but projects that benefit everyone,”.

The first lady further reminded the women that the election season is approaching and urged them to stand firmly behind their own daughter and sister, the Delta State First Lady, Dcns Tobore Oborevwori, by giving overwhelming support to her husband.
“We are approaching an election year, and we must not disappoint our own sister, our daughter, our Mama Delta. We must massively support her husband, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, come 2027. The level of support given to the governor would determine the extent of development the people would continue to enjoy. The support we give him is what we will use to negotiate for more Ukodo for our people,” she concluded.

The widows, who were visibly excited, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Isoko North first lady for the show of love and generosity. They reaffirmed their unwavering support for her husband, Godwin Ogorugba as well as the Delta State Government under the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
