…Isoko North 100% For Gov. Oborevwori Come 2027–Ogorugba
The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba, said, the council is now the hub of peace and security challenges has been fully handled as well.
Ogorugba who disclosed this Thursday while playing host to the Isoko North Traditional Rulers Council in his office in Ozoro, headquarters of the council, stated that both the high flag spots of Ozoro and Owhelogbo have experienced peace for some time and commended the traditional rulers for their efforts in promoting harmony within their kingdoms.
Ogorugba said, “I can assure you that Isoko North Local Government is peaceful and very safe. We have successfully curtailed the recent clashes in Ozoro as well as issues in Owhelogbo. Some individuals involved have been arrested, and the investigation is still ongoing. I have spoken with the leaders of various communities to encourage them to allow security personnel to do their jobs, and this process is underway.”
The council boss who is popularly referred to as a digital performing chairman, however informed the monarchs that the security in the local government has been strengthened and appreciated the state commissioner of police for his swift response in reinforcing the police formation in the council and requested their cooperation with the government to achieve positive results.

Meanwhile in an another development, the chairman of Isoko North council, Godwin Ogorugba and one of the second tenure crusaders for governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has stated that the people of Isoko North will be 100% for governor Sheriff Oborevwori come 2027 with overwhelming votes.

Speaking Thursday during a courtesy visit by the 25 local government chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state in his office in Ozoro, administrative headquarters of the council, Ogorugba expressed confidence that governor Sheriff Oborevwori will secure an overwhelming victory in the 2027 elections in Isoko North and the entire state.
According to the council boss, come 2027, the election shall be Sheriff vs Sheriff following the governor’s impressive developmental strides across the state which, he said, has positioned him far ahead of any potential contenders.
“I want to first congratulate all of you, my former colleagues and the new chairmen. All elections are by the grace of God, and yours was no exception. We must all be united and committed to the party’s success. The party is on the shoulders of His Excellency, the Governor, and as we continue to push the MORE Agenda in our various localities, we must spread the good message of the party across board.
“For us in Isoko North, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will secure more votes in 2027 than ever before. The party’s leadership in Isoko North remains fully committed to work tirelessly for the PDP’s success at all levels.”Ogorugba said.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation of the chairman of the PDP Uvwie Local Government chapter and chairman of chairmen, Efe Okoledo, appreciated the warm reception accorded them by the Isoko North council chairman, even as he noted that, as Isoko North was the first host of their federal constituency meetings, it was necessary to visit the council, given that Ogorugba was once their colleague.
