Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has charged Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) leaders and party faithful in the local government to be united and support the administration of governor Sheriff Oborevwori and stand firm for his second tenure come 2027.

The council chairman gave the charge today at the house-warming of the Executive Assistant (EA) to the governor on beautification, Emmanuel Erezih (Okpomor), at Emevor, Isoko North council.

Ogorugba, one of the early proponent of the second tenure of the state governor, appealed to the people to close ranks and put aside whatever differences they may have against each other and unite in their collective support for the governor to continue his good work.

The council boss, while reaffirming his support for the re-election of the governor, noted that “With the governor’s developmental efforts in the state, especially in Isoko nation, my commitment to his re-election in 2027 is unwavering. The people of Emevor, I urge you all to rise above pettiness and to fully support the governor for an additional four years in office.

“The completion of the Emevor/Orogun road and the awarding of contracts for second phase of the road would not have been possible without governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s dedication to Emevor and Isoko people through his MORE AGENDA. Therefore, I encourage you to set aside any grievances and unite in our collective support for the governor to continue his good work.”, Ogorugba stated.

Also speaking, other Isoko North PDP leaders, Kome Okpobor, DESOPADEC Executive Director Finance and Administration, Ovie Oghoore, immediate past commissioner for project monitoring and audit, Emmanuel Egbabor PDP State Organizing Secretary, Paul Oweh, Chairman Delta State Hospital Management Board and Emmanuel Erezih (Okpomor,) Executive Assistant to the Governor, in one accord affirmed governor Sheriff Oborevwori re-election in 2027.
