More Groups Pledge Support For Uduaghan’s Senatorial Ambition

As the 2019 general elections draw near, more groups from Delta south senatorial district have thrown massive support behind the senatorial ambition of the immediate past governor of Delta state, Mr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.

Brainstorming in Warri, Wednesday, the groups which cut across the Itsekiri, Ijaw, Isoko and Urhobo nations in Delta South senatorial districts and represented by their coordinators vowed to work with the last drop of their blood to see that Uduaghan emerges the senator to represent the good people of the district at the national Assembly come 2019.

The convener of the meeting, Mr. Ologe Elijah while highlighting the various achievements of former governor Uduaghan while in office, made a passionate appeal to the various groups to show serious commitments towards the success of Uduaghan’s senatorial ambition, even as he described the former governor as a bridge builder, pace setter and a respected personality who has shown genuine commitments in re-writting the story of Delta South senatorial districts.

The convener, however assured the various groups’ coordinators of Uduaghan’s commitments aimed at providing them with better representation adding that “Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan can not afford to disappoint the good people of Delta South senatorial districts if elected.”

While thanking the various group coordinators for finding time out of their busy schedules to be physically present at the meeting, the convener noted that their presence shows how tasty they are to see the immediate past governor at the red chamber of the senate come 2019.

In the same vein coordinators from the various groups who spoke on behalf of the Ijaw nation described former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan as a peacemaker, a committed party man who has demonstrated capacity and readiness to transform the senatorial districts.

“Our brother has been there for 16 years with nothing to show, this is the time to support Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan to represent us at the red chambers and we believe with Uduaghan’s presence at the senate, the dividends of democracy will be at the doorsteps of the electorates”, they said.

Coordinators who spoke on behalf of the Isoko nation revealed that in Isoko South and North local government area, former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan has 95% of the delegates as they highlighted various benefits the Isoko nation benefited from the Uduaghan’s administration while in office as governor of Delta state.

The coordinators vowed that they have decided to carry the cross of Uduaghan and they will not look back because victory is sure.
