To keep developmental pace with other towns in the state and across the country, chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba, has reiterated the commitment of his administration in the development of Ozoro and other communities within the local government area.
Ogorugba who disclosed this Thursday while playing host to the local government street naming, house numbering committee and community chairmen and town planning officers at the council EXCO Chamber, Ozoro, headquarters of the council urged the people of Isoko North to cooperate with the committee to ensure effective execution of their assignment.
Represented by the committee chairman and supervisor for Agriculture and Community Development, Thomas Akpoedafe, noted that “Our primary focus is to find a way on how to facilitate the proper naming of streets house numbering as part of security measure and development across the local government.
“This administration is committed to opening up new streets and with the maintenance of existing streets that will aid residents in the developing areas and to also ensure that the dividends of democracy reaches every part of the local government.”
The council boss however assured the committee members, the various chairmen and town planning officers of his continued support in their mission to enhance infrastructural development across the nook and cranny of the local government.
