Thugs believed to be working under the instructions of the former governor of Edo state, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and the incumbent deputy governor of the state, Mr. Philip Shuaibu have allegedly attacked APC former governorship aspirant, Mr. Blessing Agbomhere.
HardReporters gathered that, Agbomhere was attacked and beaten up Tuesday morning at the Benin airport.
Speaking with HardReporters correspondent at the Benin airport, APC former governorship aspirant, Mr. Blessing Agbomhere said “They expelled me from the party two weeks ago, and warned me never to come to Edo state. I don’t know how the information got to them, that I will arrive Edo state. As soon as I got to the airport, Philip Shuaibu, an academic impetus, was already waiting, where he was calling the whole of Benin. And the result, is what you see. How can I be stopped from coming to my own state?.”
It was gathered that, Mr. Agbomhere narrowly escaped death if not the swift intervention of some security operatives at the airport.
