Again, Isoko North Chairman Bags Transformation Ward, Vows “Its Oborevwori Or Nothing”

The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba, has again bagged and award and this time, it’s the Vanguard of Societal and Educational Transformation award bestowed on him by the Youth Coalition for Education in Nigeria.

Presenting the award to the council chairman in his office, Ozoro, on Thursday, the Secretary General of the organization, Yakubu Nurudeen Yahaya, praised Ogorugba for his infrastructural giant strides and contributions to both human and capital development.

The Youth Coalition for Education in Nigeria is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting vibrant and impactful educational initiatives across the country.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Isoko North council, Godwin Ogorugba has vowed that it’s governor Sheriff Oborevwori or nothing come 2027.

Ogorugba who made the vow Thursday during a courtesy visit on him in his office in Ozoro, by the forum of female heads of personnel management, treasurers, and the wives of both heads of personnel management and treasurers from the 25 local government areas in the state, appealed for increased support for the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, emphasizing that the governor’s initiatives are in the best interest of the state and its people.

“I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful visit before your meeting,” Ogorugba said. “I also humbly appeal to you to rally behind our Governor. His developmental efforts speak for themselves.”

Highlighting key projects such as the Asaba/Ughelli road and other numerous legacy projects, Ogorugba noted that these visible accomplishments are clear indicators of the governor’s commitment to progress.

“Given the impressive transformation taking place across Delta State, I believe every Deltan should support his re-election. His continued leadership promises even greater strides in development,” he added.

The council chairman who expressed gratitude to the visiting women who were in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North for their monthly meeting, for the gifts they presented to him, acknowledging the thoughtfulness and generosity behind the gesture.

The visiting women were later hosted at their meeting by Mrs. Irene Onwodi, Head of Personnel Management of Isoko North Local Government, and Fejiro Elo Ogbogbo, the Local Government Treasurer.
