Reports just reaching our news desk says, former Delta State House of Assembly member representing Isoko South 1 constituency and leader of All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Isoko south local government area of the state, Lucky Okperi has escaped assassination along Asaba-Kwale road.
According to reports, the lawyer by profession was not in the vehicle as at the time the hired assassins lunched the attack leaving his vehicle burnt while his driver, one Rex narrowly escaped as the assassins fired several gunshot at him.
It was however observed that for some time now, the former lawmaker has been critical of the House of Representatives minority leader and member representing Isoko federal constituency, Leo Ogor and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
