The official residence of the member representing Aniocha South constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Angela Nwaka has been burgled by her maid, HardReporters has leanrt.
It was reliably gathered that the lawmaker’s residence in the legislative quarters was burgled around 10:00am Wednesday by her maid, a foreigner, carting away her gas cooker, expensive clothes, Nigerian and hard currencies among other valuables.
As at the time of filing in this report, Nwaka who is said to be in a state of confusion, had drew the attention of her inner caucus in the Assembly last week that her apartment was no longer safe.
The lawmaker, it was gathered has called for the immediate arrest and detention of her security guard.
It would be recalled that last week, the residence of the senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly, Peter Nwoaboshi was burgled in Asaba by his constituents he refused to empower and carted away Nigerian and hard currencies, laptop, jewelries and other expensive valuables.
