Former member of the governing Council of Delta State Institute of Continuing Education, Ogaga Isaac Egbuwoku, has taken a swipe at the Delta state former Commissioner for Urban Renewal now Directorate of Youths, Karo Ilolo, and the member representing Isoko South constituency 1 in the state house of Assembly, Orezi Esievo over what he called amassing of wealth and poor representation of Isoko nation.
Mr. Egbuwoku, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), to the All Progressives Congress, (APC), over the weekend at his ward in Emede, Isoko South local government area of Delta state, stated in particular through his verified facebook account while giving reasons for his defection that the Youths Commissioner, Karo Ilolo is the worst of all the political appointees from Isoko nation while the legislator from his constituency, Orezi Esievo, is a monumental failure in terms of representation.
The former President, Isoko National Youth Movement said his decision to defect to the APC was taken after due consultation with his immediate family, friends, top political leaders and associates among others, saying that “I have decided to decamped from PDP to the APC for the following reasons, the gross marginalization of Isoko nation and Emede in particular by governor Arthur Okowa, believing that some self acclaimed leaders in Isoko nation will deliver him all alone in 2019 and relegating some of us who delivered bulk votes to him that gave him victory”
Mr. Egbuwoku who stated further that his defection includes poor representation by the member representing Isoko south constituency 1 in the state house of Assembly, Mrs. Orezi Esievo, “Poor representation by the member representing Isoko South constituency 1, Hon Orezi Esievo, infact this is the worst representation, the worst part of it is that we in Emede that she came from don’t feel her impact at all, if she comes to Isoko she stay in Irri and if she wants to see Emede people she relocate to H and O Hotel and invites them, the worst part of it is that for the past three years of her tenure she has not influenced one single project to Emede.
“What of my brother, Hon. Karo Ilolo is the worst of all the political appointees from Isoko nation, after his appointment he abandoned his house and family, if he managed to come to Isoko for public functions he sit at the back seats looking for every available chance to dodge, a Commissioner for himself alone and his personal pocket, you can imagine his SA is from Edo state who has no electoral value to the governor, he severally complained that all contracts are awarded from the governor’s office in his ministry that he only signs the documents and supervise project as such he can’t help anybody.
“That Infact he always begged the governor for contracts to help himself. Our father late High Chief Tom Egbuwoku was among the few people that brought PDP to Delta State and established it in Isoko nation but upon that we have not been carried along in the scheme of things. After weighing all the advantages and disadvantages of being a member of the PDP I have come to the conclusion that the disadvantages is 90 percent to 10 percent and I have decided to decamped to APC for a change, APC change the government of Delta state, APC take over government house, Asaba.” Mr. Egbuwoku stated.

Our correspondent reliably gathered that Mr. Ilolo and Mrs. Esievo are bother from Emede community, while Ilolo is a blood brother of Mr. Egbuwoku maternally.
The Youth Commissioner, it was gathered before now was living from hand to mouth and immediately after his appointment as a commissioner after rejecting an earlier SA appointment given to him, he now lived a flamboyant life, going about amassing wealth through corrupt practices and ended up erecting state of the act edifices within and outside the state capital.
Unconfirmed report has it that Mr. Ilolo was alleged sacked from his lucrative Urban Renewal Ministry following his corrupt practices and redeployed by the governor to a lesser attractive Directorate of Youths.
