Isoko North Chairman, Ogorugba Vows Continued Support For Education

The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment towards the growth of education in the council.

Ogorugba who disclosed this Thursday, during the annual Inter-House Sports competition of Otibio Grammar School, Otor-Igho, vowed that his administration would continue to support education, particularly at the primary school level which falls under the council’s jurisdiction, and expressed delight at the success of the event., adding that “As a chairman, I am doing my best to reach out to relevant agencies regarding some of your concerns. However, our primary focus remains on the primary education level.”

The council chairman, who is also an alumnus of the school, promised to personally support the school alongside his family by  equipping the school’s library with books as requested by the school authority.

Ogorugba however commended the school for organizing the sports competition even as he noted that such events provide a platform to discover young sporting talents within the school.

Earlier, the Principal of the school,  Waya G.O., thanked the council chairman for his continued support to the Otor-Igho community, the school, and the entire local government, describing the chairman’s performance in office as excellent and impactful.

Ogorugba was accompanied to the event by the Head of Personnel Management (HPM), Mrs. Irene Onwodi, Supervisor for Agriculture and Community Development, Thomas Akpoedafe, Supervisor for Works, Egwu Oghenro Alakpodia, Supervisor for Environment, Alebe Joshua, Special Adviser, Erero Oloku, NULGE chairman Isoko North  chapter, Gideon Esime, DOP to the Isoko North council chairman, Jude Ogwologho, and others
