The Isoko South Local Government Area Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), chairman, Raphael Odorewhu, Friday disgraced himself while battling to construct a straight forward sentence with simple and current English during the campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South for the forthcoming local government elections.
It was reliably gathered that Mr. Odorewhu, a stooge to the Executive Director of Administration and Finance of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Askia Ogieh, with penchant for corruption, was called up stage to deliver his welcome speech but ended up disgracing himself as he could not make coherent sentences with English.
According to a staunch member of the PDP who witnessed the show of shame of the PDP chairman, “It was a very disgraceful scene. The party chairman could not express himself, was finding it difficult to fused words together and make a correct simple sentence with English. We were all ashamed of his his speech. This is what you see when people are imposed on the people. It was a “Dullard” presentation. He was also finding it hard to land, he was just so confused and began to rigmarole at the end he said “Vote for our governor come 2019.”
Another source at the rally who confirmed the incident on phone described the Isoko South Local Government Area Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), chairman, Raphael Odorewhu, as a “dull brain” chairman who was only imposed on the people by self acclaimed Isoko South leader, Mr. Ogieh at the expense of well educated members and leaders of the party, adding “The repercussions of such act are what we witnessed today, the disgrace he brought upon himself and his master was enormous. Ogieh also imposed on the people an illiterate as a vice chairman as well as councillorship candidates across the wards. What are we saying, it is a known fact that even Ogieh himself in time past hired people who sat for examination for him at Federal Polytechnic Oko and other places.”
Meanwhile, leaders of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Isoko South local government area of the state have unanimously agreed to deliver governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019.
The party leaders, Mrs. Stella Omu, Mr. Idodo-Umeh, M. Dennis Etalokwu, Orezi Esievo, Mr. Solomon Ogba, and Mr. Ross Uredi, who gave assurance in their separate speeches during the campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South for the forthcoming January 6, 2018 local government election, said PDP was the only party on ground in the local government.
