The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba has been applauded for his ‘exceptuinal leadership style.
Ward chairmen of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Isoko North chapter gave the applaud when the council chairman played host to the 13 APC Ward chairmen in his office, Ozoro on Wednesday.
Speaking on behalf of other Ward chairmen, Emevor APC Ward 7 chairman and chairman of the Wards chairmen forums, Philip Oghogho described the Isoko North council chairman’s leadership style as exceptional and equal to none, considering his performance since assumption of office, saying “There is no Ward across the local government without visible project and also the first local government council chairman to play host to his APC Ward chairmen across the Delta South Senatorial district since defection to APC.
“Mr. Chairman we are proud of you and your achievements in less than one year in office, keep it up Isoko North people are very happy. Let me appreciate the chairman for giving us assurance of accommodating us in his administration most especially in reaching out to us for our monthly meetings and programmes.”, Oghogho noted.
In his remarks, the Isoko North chairman, Godwin Ogorugba reassured all APC leaders and party faithful across the local government that the state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori laudable decision to defect to the All Progressive Congress (APC) party was for the best interest of all Deltans in order to attract more federal government projects and empowerment to “our people and “Deltans have a lots to gain.”
Ogorugba however appealed to the Ward chairmen to ensure they treat all APC members in their various wards equally without segregation in their day to day running of the party administration.
The council boss, assured the APC Ward chairmen of his committment to the party policies and programmes in ensuring the Renewed Hope of President Bola Tinubu and the MORE agenda of governor Sheriff Oborevwori were consolidated in Isoko North.
Present during the meeting were Pascal Emeluaha, leader Isoko North legislative Arm, Ajirioghene Osifihor CEO El-Dorado Resort Limited, Thomas Akpoedafe, supervisor for Agriculture and community development, Oghenero Alakpodia Egwu, supervisor for Works, Joshua Alebe, supervisor for environment, Felix Ogona SSA to the governor.
